The Chittagong Hill Tracts which is mostly
called Parbotto Chottogram comprise an area of 13,295 Sq. km. in
south-eastern Bangladesh. It is divided into three separate districts; these
are Khagrachari, Rangamati and Bandarban. Topographically, this is the only
hill intensive area of Bangladesh. The inhabitants of the Hill Tracts are
mostly tribal. Life of the tribal people is extremely fascinating. The total area
of this region has a huge natural pristine beauty which attracts the traveller to
come here and make them a happy tour.
